Name: Dhivan Shah

Country: India

Year of experience: 3

Specialization: ITM

"The curriculum of the Masters's in IT Management program is one of the best ! The icing on the cake is its professors, who are project manager's from reputed organizations. This enables us to work on real time assignments and projects. The environment in the school is very professional and energetic. Now, I can proudly say that I am one of the first graduates of EPITA English Masters !! Paris is known to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world and it has all the prerequisites to be called so! For all my Indian friends who are willing to do MS abroad, Paris and EPITA is a rare combination. One shall grab it, if given an opportunity. People in France are really generous and ready to help. Learning French is the most essential part to know more about culture and  people. I am still in a learning process.
For my internship, I worked as a Business Analyst with Level3 Communications, Paris. Level3 is known to be one of the biggest telecommunications firm. I learned the most essential parts of business analysis and more importantly business intelligence. The internship also gave me an in hand experience of Project Management and international coordination. It was a true experience to work in a multicultural and multinational environment. Last but not the least, it has helped me grow professionally as well as personally."

Name: Phuoc Dai Nguyen
Country of origin: Vietnam
Work experience: 1 Year
Specialization: Computer Security

"After completing my bachelors degree in computer science in Vietnam, I was interested in doing a Master's course in the field of computer security in an international environment. I came across EPITA's Graduate Engineering Program with specialization in computer security through their website and immediately applied for this program. As luck would have it, I got a scholarship from my country (Vietnam) for this program. My aim is to obtain more knowledge in the field of computer security and use this knowledge to serve my country. EPITA and France have so many technical advances to share with the rest of the world and I view this International Program as a means of distributing this knowledge. The teachers at this institute are very friendly and always ready to help. Being in Paris, communicating with French people in their own language is a challenging but enriching experience. This program is the platform for a real experience in an international and multicultural environment."

Internship: the fast track to employment

Highlights of the early trends of hiring Alumni from EPITA called “Epitians” at the end of their academic defense work.

EPITA’s alumni don't seem to know about the financial crisis. From the initial one third (or 85) of Graduation year 2010 students who did their defense before mid-July, 45% said they were already employed with three weeks remaining before the end of their internship. And in those 45%, 85% are in the company in which they did their in98375972.jpgternship.

There is a wide range of companies recruiting: the 85 students are accommodated in over 60 companies, including ITES companies like Capgemini or Sopragroup, software vendors like SAP Business Objects, or consulting firms as Solucom. Abroad, as before, the Californian company VMware took two interns who were subsequently offered a permanent position.

The average annual gross salary, excluding benefits, is stable at around 36,000 euros, with an average of 2000 euros as extra benefits, or in other words € 38,000 annual average income.

These figures remain to be further refined for the entire 2010 class after the academic defenses are done in October 2010 and January 2011.

Renewal of EPITA's French State Accreditation (CTI)

Commission-Titres-Ingenieur.jpgThe French State organisation called CTI (Commission des Titres d'Ingenieurs) has renewed its trust in EPITA by extending its accreditation to deliver EPITA's Computer Science Engineering Graduate Degree (recognized as a Master’s Degree) for a maximum possible duration, i.e. 3 years, for repositioning on the periodic accreditation of Paris region.

This institutional recognition of the quality of training provided by EPITA, combined with ongoing support from thousands of companies that offer internships and jobs to our students each year, rewards the investment of teachers, researchers as well as the administrative staff of the school.
