The International Relations Department of EPITA is organizing the 2011 edition of EPITA's International Week on its Kremlin Bicetre campus from 11 to 15 April.
The objective of this week is to give tools and tips to the second year engineering students to start an internationally oriented career and be able to work in a multicultural context. This event aims to promote the internationalization of French students and help international students integrate into the French culture.
There will be lectures conducted by experts on topics such as "Working Abroad: Challenges for Engineers of Tomorrow", "Globalization and International Mobility", "Managing Cultural Differences", "Working in a Transnational and Virtual Team." Students will also attend workshops that focus on a particular country, thereby addressing its professional markets, academic scenarios, recruitment processes, and stereotypes. There are 16 workshops offered on countries such as Turkey, Germany, Ireland, China, the USA, Canada or India.
An International Education Fair will also be held on Thursday, April 14 from 1:00 to 5:00pm where more than 10 booths will welcome the students to explain the possibilities of exchange programs, dual-degrees, internships and courses offered by EPITA and its partners. Boston University from the USA, UQAC from Canada, Konkuk and UOS Universities from South Korea and the Stafforshire University from the United Kingdom amongst others will be represented.
During the International Week students can find out about educational and professional opportunities, taste different food, discover foreign cultures, get to know students from different countries, practice new languages and much more. An out of the ordinary photo exhibition will also be displayed. Of course, the campus will be decorated with international colors throughout the week insuring its global flare!
