Hello from the California International Business University. How are things going at ISEG Bordeaux?
We are sending you news from San Diego. We arrived 2 month ago, and are already enjoying the city, the beach, the sun, the surf and ... of course school too ! San Diego is a great city with many things to do. We have not visited a lot of sites yet but we plan to do so (when we got time and money).
Everything is different here, the buildings and cars. The people are very nice and every morning say to you "what's up man?" or "how is it going man ?" even though they don’t know you ! Everybody has big trucks except for us, we only have a Honda Civic but that doesn't matter!!
On arrival, we needed time to settle in. We looked for a house in Mission Beach whilst living at Audrey and Celine’s house for a week. Then we looked for a car and bought one, which broke down the next day !! "Be careful when doing deals!" so now we rent one. Now we are well settled, and are 50 metres from the beach which is amazing. Don't worry we go to school too!
The California International Business University is a great school. The first day we met ISEGiens from Paris, Lyon, Nantes, ... and there are also a lot of German students here.
We quickly got friendly with them and we are always together. However we have too much work !!!! I'm kidding but yeah, we have a lot of homework, and group work to accomplish. The pedagogy is very different here compared to France because we have to read 2 chapters before each course then we have a quiz every course, so we work hard. But for the moment things are going pretty well. As we are writing to you it is 8h30 and we already are revising because it is our "mid-term week". But we do have the time to have fun with other students. Different events are organized every week as bowling, baseball matchs, barbecues on the beach, ... so it's very cool and we can talk to everybody.
